This page explains how to delete your Almoner account and what happens to your data. Almoner is published by The Pocket App Company.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — in the app:
Open Almoner and go to More → Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm. (For security, you may be asked to sign out and sign back in first.)
Your sign-in is removed immediately and you are logged out. Then email us (Option 2) if you also want every stored record erased right away — see "What is deleted" below.
Option 2 — by email: send a request to support@thepocketappcompany.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account — Almoner". We will confirm and complete the deletion.
What is deleted, and when
Sign-in credentials (your email/password and any linked Google or Apple sign-in): removed immediately when you delete the account in the app, or promptly on an email request.
Your church's giving records — donors, gifts, funds, pledges, imports, reports, and year-end statements — are permanently erased, including our internal backups, within 30 days of a deletion request. If other people share your church workspace, records belong to the church; deleting your account removes your access and your sign-in, and a church workspace with no remaining members is erased.
Payment and subscription records are held by our payment processors (Stripe, Google Play) and are retained by them as required by tax and accounting law. Cancel an active subscription in Google Play or through your Stripe receipt before deleting; deletion does not by itself cancel billing handled by Google Play.
Anonymous, aggregated usage logs that identify no one may be retained.
There is no additional retention period beyond the 30 days above, except where the law requires us to keep specific records (for example, financial records).
