Mucknotes — Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Mucknotes ("the app"), published by The Pocket App Company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Mucknotes is

Mucknotes is a record-keeping and reminder tool for livestock and equine owners: you log animals, health events (vaccinations, deworming, farrier, vet visits, and similar), and the app organizes them, produces summaries, and reminds you of due tasks. Some features use AI to structure and summarize your own records.

2. Not veterinary advice

Mucknotes does not provide veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Reminders, summaries, and any AI-generated text are informational only and are based on the records you enter. They are not a substitute for a qualified veterinarian. Always consult a vet for the health of your animals and for any medical decision. You are solely responsible for the care of your animals and for decisions you make.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the records and information you enter. You grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to operate the app for you (including sending text to our AI provider when you use AI features, as described in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Mucknotes offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro and Barn), billed monthly or yearly. Paid subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel a store subscription in your App Store or Google Play account; store purchases are subject to that store's terms and refund policies. Prices may change on notice for future billing periods.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, reverse- engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data, and no use that infringes others' rights.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Some features require internet access; core logging is designed to work offline and sync later. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Pocket App Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or animal-related outcomes, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account). We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
