Comparison
Mucknotes vs Herd Advisor
Both apps let you log animal records by voice. Herd Advisor is a cattle app. Mucknotes is a horse and small-barn app. Which one fits is mostly a question of what is in your pasture.

Who should pick which
Pick Herd Advisor if…
You run cattle, you need withdrawal alerts for treated animals before sale or slaughter, and you work where there is no signal. Herd Advisor was built for that and has been covered in the trade press.
Pick Mucknotes if…
You keep horses — alone, in a boarding barn, or alongside a few goats and chickens — and you want farrier, dental, deworming, vaccine and Coggins dates kept for you from what you say out loud. If you board other people's horses, Ranch adds the crew and the client reports.
