How we build

How we build

Five rules every app follows.

01

One job per app

PocketBoss books and invoices. Mucknotes keeps animal records. Almoner reports church giving. Commute Magic answers whether you will make report time. None tries to be a suite.

02

Flat prices, or free

Every app has a Free plan with no card and no time limit. Paid plans are one flat monthly price, never per seat.

03

Your records leave with you

Export any time. Delete your account and the records are erased within 30 days.

04

Records, not advice

PocketBoss reports what you entered and never calculates tax. Almoner reports giving and never touches a donation.

05

Android and the web today

An iPhone version of each app is planned, with no date promised.

Questions

Questions about the company

The full set of questions and answers is on the FAQ page.

What do the apps cost?

Every app has a Free plan with no card and no time limit. Paid is one flat monthly price: PocketBoss Boss $14.99, Mucknotes Homestead $9.99 or Ranch $39.99, Almoner Ministry $69.99 with the first 30 days free on the web.

Who is behind the company?

One person builds and runs all four apps — no investors, no sales team, no ads. They are paid for by the people who subscribe to them, and by nothing else.

Will the apps still be here next year?

They are paid for by subscriptions, so they do not have to grow fast or be sold to survive. Nobody can promise forever, which is why every app exports your records to a file you keep.

What happens if I stop paying?

You drop back to the Free plan and every record stays where it is — nothing is deleted. Export it all any time; if you delete your account, your records are erased within 30 days.

Do you sell my data or use it to train AI?

No. Nothing is sold, nothing funds advertising, and none of the companies that run the apps for us may use your records to train AI models.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. All four run on Android and in any web browser today, including an iPhone's browser, and a native iPhone app is planned with no date promised.

How do I get help?

Email support@thepocketappcompany.com. The person who builds the apps reads it, and every app has a Help & legal page inside it.
